In Response Series
I started this series of family portraits to document my boredom watching my husband’s photographic process. As he photographed, I played off his position capturing our presence within the wider landscape. I set out to document the often invisible relationships that surround an artist. In this series, as our family has grown, our children have entered the frame complimenting and complicating the creative process. With water as the consistent backdrop, the photographs explore the evolving relationships between siblings, married artists, and parents.
